Since June 4, 2014, an update has been available for AeternoBlade. So, connect your 3DS or 2DS to the internet, and this update will be automatically downloaded when you try to start the game. While this update isn't strictly necessary, it does fix a number of "bugs" that have been discovered when using weapons and attacks.
